Marlborough
Marlborough is a market town in the county of Wiltshire on the Bath Road, the old main road from London to Bath. The High Street has a traditional wide thoroughfare with space for the twice weekly Market.
Georgian and Tudor buildings abound with several medieval buildings such as The Merchant's House, 1656. It was once an important stop for stagecoaches, and the number of inns reflects this, such as The Castle and Ball Hotel, which has been an inn since 1745.
The town displays the confidence of wealth from times past, yet today remains vibrant and progressive with its own chic café culture
