Claverton Street displays the confidence of times past, yet today remains vibrant and progressive with its own chic café culture. A fascinating mix of retail and commercial Georgian and Victorian buildings. In 1975 their worth was noted and many are listed Grade II.

The Ram Pub is made up of three houses formerly Claverton Buildings numbers 19, 20 and 21and was opened on16th June 1860. It is Grade II listed.

The Baptist Church is part of Ebenezer Chapel dating from 1831 and is listed Grade II. Famous for its roof with biblical texts, including “You must be born again” and “Prepare to meet your God”, which are also listed.
